Converts a text representation of a boolean value into a boolean. Acceptable boolean values are case-insensitive variations of \fByes\fR/\fBno\fR, \fBy\fR/\fBn\fR, \fBtrue\fR/\fBfalse\fR, \fBon\fR/\fBoff\fR.
